This project involved a two-floor (Main & 2nd Floors only) 6,000 sq. ft. retrofit, in an occupied space.
The building, a 3-story structure, was old and required extensive internal structural work. The mechanical and electrical systems were upgraded; the main floor had to be leveled; the kitchen area was completely re-located and ceramic tiles and carpeting were installed on both Floors.
The banking area consists of a custom-designed Teller station with a complimenting ceiling bulkhead detail. Additional private offices and new washrooms were added.
The 2nd floor was re-designed to accommodate a boardroom, executive / administrative offices, and a staff lounge.
Hammersmith worked closely with Gio Tan Design Associates Inc., to complete a demanding but successful project.
